“There is an exact recipe for everything. Whether it is your body, success, creating a business etc…” -Tony Robbins
We are all chefs today, here on Earn Your Happy! Looking for the recipe to all of the above?! Yeah…ME TOO!
Have you ever heard the saying “too many cooks in the kitchen?” Not this time, baby! I’m here to invite all you cooks out there, to muster up the most beautiful lie recipe, possible.
Let's take cupcakes (as a metaphor) for example, of course the quality of ingredients matters, but thats a learning lesson. Give and take, trial and error. I’m most concerned about the intensity you are baking at!
“What is the temperature you are baking at? We can all make cupcakes, but what is the enthusiasm level in which you are selling them at? If you aren't sharing with the world how rad your cupcakes are, how well would your bake sale go?!”
“People need what you have, they want to be fed these cupcakes!”

An East Los Angeles Native, troubled teen who suffered from depression, anxiety, and overeating who turned into a Yoga + Meditation teacher and is now changing lives…
Rosie is an expert at helping her students cultivate a life of mindfulness, presence, and intention. She is known as a teacher who is skilled in her ability to guide students into experiencing a deeper connection with themselves and exploring the consistent changes of life while creatively weaving in spiritual elements from her own practice and experience.
Rosie Acosta is a Yoga & Meditation Teacher and a Teacher Trainer. Certified Nutritionist + Life Coach and Founder of Radically Loved Yoga Health and Wellness.
In all her work, Rosie teaches and practices RADICAL LOVE and uses this as a guiding force to overcome adversity. Through yoga, healthy lifestyle choices, mantra, and self-inquiry she aspires to help others find their unique gifts and fire within, she creates practices for her students and connects with people in a way that helps her students live radically loved lives.
Her articles can be found in Mantra magazine, MindBodyGreen, FOX News Latino, Pop Sugar Fitness, Well+Good, and Evolve Fit Wear. She can be found teaching yoga and coaching workshops around the country as well as leading international teacher trainings. Rosie is also a proud ambassador for Yoga Journal, City Silence, Manduka, and Living Yoga.
She has used her experience teaching her day to day students working in her community and has worked with elite Olympic athletes, NFL Champions, NBA All-Stars, At Risk Youth and Afghanistan Veterans. Most recently, she is working on a book about Yoga and Meditation. As Rosie mentions in her bio, she was raised in East LA in the 90’s. As you may not know, that was a high-time for gang violence in Los Angeles.
“Reading and researching back to that time, there were about 450-500 different gangs around my area. I was raised in an environment of fear. Hearing gun shots daily, was a very normal thing.”
Not only growing up in the pure neighborhood chaos, but Rosie was also personally raised in an alcoholic household. Not knowing at the time of course, but all of which has turned her into an insanely independent, radical human being! She takes us back to her days of stressful events, anxiety-ridden habits and her depressed surroundings. Like most of the kids/teens her age in the area, Rosie got caught up in drugs and alcohol, skipping class and unethical behavior.
“I was quickly becoming a product of my environment.”
At the young age of 6, Rosie witnessed her first drive by shooting. Having to self-regulate to calm her nerves, she reminisces on how she remembered her breathing technique in that moment and how it soon became a part of her daily habits. Having developed anxiety and panic attacks, this breathing-form became a norm…rapidly. Fast forwarding into her late-teens/early 20’s, Rosie took it upon herself to get healthy. No extra “push” no pressure, just the shear desire to be better.
“A friend of mine suggested I run a marathon, but I hated running. I thought to myself 'The only time I remember running, was away from something…most likely the authority.'”
Going to school full-time, working full-time and indulging herself, headfirst into yoga teacher training, Rosie was a busy young girl to say the least. Rosie’s whirl-wind background is extremely inspiring and powerful. She has made something out of nothing, and continues to go above and beyond in her life and work.
“We are all born with limitless potential, we all have a place in this world, it is part of our journey to be radically curious, radically inspired and be radically loved.”

Naturally, especially as woman (although this most definitely can go both ways,) we tend to deflect compliments, which I translate into “blocking your blessings.”
Today’s quickie is all about receiving. Accepting and fully embodying what it feels like to be love and be loved.
“If someone goes out of their way to compliment you and you deflect it, you may actually be hurting them.”
As you know, giving compliments is a brave task. It can be used to break the ice on a first date, or a way to get attention from someone you admire etc…So just as much as it is brave to GIVE the compliment, it is equally as brave if not more, to fully RECEIVE the compliment.
“By not accepting a compliment, you are blocking the fact that someone observes something amazing in you and they are wanting to celebrate with you.”
As humans, who want to remain “humble,” we try to either turn the compliment completely around and end up complimenting them OR we tend to neutralize the compliment but putting negative talk around it.
“Accepting a compliment is a self-love practice!”
Stop having to have a reason for why you do something good for yourself. Knowing you are worth it, is reason enough!

Starting out in the fitness world doing Body Building competitions, Amanda shares with us how it all began.
“I started doing fitness because I wanted to look better and feel better, like anybody else.”
Always having a passion for working out and staying fit, Amanda needed the extra push to level up her mindset and her gym routine, if she wanted to reach her goals.
Going back and forth on different meal plans and diets was her lifestyle for a bit until she began what is called “flexible dieting.”
It is essentially basic nutrition put into your daily practice in terms of changing your body composition. Depending on what your body goals are, either to put on muscle or to lose body fat, there are plenty of ways to do so and to do so HEALTHILY, which Amanda is a prime example of!
At the young age of only 23, Amanda is already such an amazing influencer for both the young & older generation! Having an immense following on social media, has made it possible for her to reach her 400k+ followers in an impactful way.
“It is not about focusing on your number of followers, it is about spreading a message that people connect to. People want to see how what you’re doing can connect to their life to make it better.”
Not only is she knowledgable in the fitness aspect, but after much hard work in the business, her marketing and social media tips and strategies, are the bomb! Speaking with her today, I felt as if I were speaking with someone my own age. Her insights are incredible and inspiring. She is a complete powerhouse!

Coming back from last weekends 3-days of bliss, I wanted to share one of the most important topics I touched on at the event… "Getting rid of the negative story about yourself.” If you truly observe and listen to those around you, especially your tribe, you’ll come to know that SO many of us share that same struggle or “story.”
“When you become vulnerable enough to tell this story to others and let your walls down, something beautiful is going to happen!”
Releasing these stories will take a weight off your shoulders like you’ll never believe. You’ll begin to grow and elevate in ways you didn't even know were possible and who knows who you may influence around you while you do it…it’s a win/win situation. I
t is time to recognize the difference between stories you may have adopted from the people around you and the stories that you, yourself truly believe in.
You can ALWAYS choose again.

Like the old saying, “You are what you eat,” the same applies to “You are what you think.”
One of my favorite quotes that I have read lately is by the genius himself, Albert Einstein. “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Why you ask? Because knowledge is “what is.” It’s the study of factual things and events, but imagination…it’s a world of endless possibilities, it’s the ability to make your dreams a reality.
As I prepare for the Bliss Project (which is in less than 24 hours!!) that quote holds a special place in my heart as I create the content to change and ROCK over 350 women’s worlds this weekend!
Anyone can teach knowledge and facts but the Bliss event came out of something I personally desired and imagined. It came from a place I wish existed, so I made it exist! It is a safe place to meet and connect with a tribe, unapologetically as yourself! So…as living proof that you can make anything a reality, I am here to shout it from the rooftop, that everything you want in life is on the other side of fear! No one said it would be easy, but let me tell you…once you get to the other side, the feeling is beyond anything that you could possible imagine.
