Rachel DeAlto is a relationship expert, coach, hypnotherapist, motivational speaker, author, and spokesperson. She believes that relationships are the foundation of everything, and it is essential to learn to navigate those relationships with great communication, a sense of perspective, and self-awareness.
Rachel believes in the art of communication, and its inherent value in all aspects of your life. She developed her communications expertise through an undergraduate degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and later as a practicing trial attorney after receiving her Juris Doctorate at Seton Hall University School of Law.
She has also received professional training as a certified coach through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC) and is a certified hypnotherapist via the International Association Of Counselors & Therapists (IACT).
Rachel is a featured relationship expert on FYI’s Married at First Sight and Second Chances. Rachel has also appeared on a multitude of media outlets and is also a frequent TEDx speaker.
Coming from a law background, coaching one’s love life was kind of something that Rachel sort of “feel into.” Continuing her education to become a coach, Rachel once again went back to school, but this time for the polar-opposite subject…love.
“Relationship coaching came from my natural desire to help people, as did being a lawyer”
As one of my favorite topics to talk about (love and relationships) I got some juicy details out of Rachel! She opens up to us about frequently asked questions in her field along with helpful tips and advice to not only FIND love, but to KEEP love. As powerful women AND men, it’s important to know that “the more you are, the more you expect,” when it comes to finding the one. Understand that the “intimidation factor” is also real, it is very real ladies and gentlemen! Having it all and looking the part to match, isn’t always the easiest to approach. Finding love takes just as much effort on your end, as it does theirs.
“I feel like expectations can kind-of be a killer. You can have desires, but don’t expect every man you meet to live up to them.”
Rachel also shares with us one of the first steps she goes through with her clients. “I ask them what are the four things they look for in someone that they couldn't live without? I only give them four!”
“No one is perfect, but it's more about finding someone who fits with you perfectly.”
Looking to find love? Or maybe enhance your current relationship with some extra fire?! Tune in for some of the greatest love advice I’ve ever heard!
Rachel is the real deal y’all…you can thank me later ;)

Just when you start to feel overwhelmed (and trust me, we've all felt that way, you are not alone!) Remember that there is always some part of the day or the task that you can be grateful for.
Only 7 days out from my biggest event of the year and believe me when I say…I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. But instead of sinking into the dark hole, my weeks mantra is, “I love that I get to do this!” I can’t even imagine not hosting the Bliss Project. “It is like I would not be fulfilling my life’s calling.”
Be conscious and aware that every experience that comes your way is an opportunity. An opportunity to choose love and bliss or to grow and overcome!
You can’t “be jealous” of what others have, if you aren't willing to put in the work for it. To go through it and to GROW through it.
“Visualization is like a secret handshake with the universe.”
Seeing your future, and visualizing/planning your future is the key to creating a life you have always dreamed of. The faster you say YES to your dreams, the faster your blessings will appear. It is about stepping straight into your fear, and letting faith take it from there!

Dr. Cates shares with us, that as a young child she was always sick. Whether it were allergies or a low immune system, her parents were on the hunt to find the right doctors and right treatments to help cure Trevor. It wasn't until they finally landed in the Holistic Doctors office, that Trevor found the answers. Attending and graduating from the Naturopathic Medical School in 2000, Dr. Cates has been practicing ever since. Her name “The Spa Dr.” arose from working in several world-renown spas. "What keeps me happy, is moving. Moving forward in any form."
It is important to pick the area that you want to have progress in, first.
I truly believe that by feeling good health wise, it will fully support all of the other things that you want to focus on. Maybe it's not like you to grow two things at once, and that's fine! Being true to yourself and being able to recognize that you work better with one sole focus, is absolutely okay.

Publisher, editor-in-chief and coauthor of Chicken Soup for the Soul, Amy Newmark was a writer, speaker, Wall Street analyst and business executive in the worlds of finance and telecommunications for more than 30 years. Today she is publisher, editor-in-chief and coauthor of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series. Since 2008, when Amy, her husband, and an investor group bought the company from its founders, Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen, she has published more than 100 new books, doubling the number of Chicken Soup for the Soul titles in print today.
As publisher, Amy is credited with revitalizing the Chicken Soup for the Soul brand. She redesigned the look of the book covers and interiors, and changed the format of the title so that the books can cover topics of interest to today’s readers. This has led to national bestsellers such as Chicken Soup for the Soul: Think Positive, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Messages from Heaven, and Chicken Soup for the Soul: Angels Among Us. By compiling inspirational and aspirational true stories curated from ordinary people who have had extraordinary experiences, Amy has kept the 21-year-old Chicken Soup for the Soul brand fresh and relevant, and still part of the social zeitgeist.
Amy graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University where she majored in Portuguese and minored in French. During her junior and senior years, she researched and wrote a thesis about popular, spoken-word poetry in Brazil, which involved living in Brazil for several months, traveling throughout its impoverished northeast region, and meeting with poets and writers to collect their stories. She is delighted to have come full circle in her writing career—from collecting poetry “from the people” in Brazil as a 20-year-old to, three decades later, collecting stories and poems “from the people” for Chicken Soup for the Soul.
Amy works alongside her husband, Bill Rouhana, CEO and fellow co-owner of Chicken Soup for the Soul. She and Bill are the proud parents of four grown children and in her limited spare time, Amy enjoys visiting them, hiking, and reading books that she did not have to edit.
Once taking over the Chicken Soup for the Soul brand, Amy and her partners have extended the company much further than just books. Can you believe they even have the top-line of dog and cat food!? They care about their pets just as much as they do themselves.
Amy is an incredible example of a powerhouse business woman. Just listening to her speak, it is obvious she is passionate about her work and it most definitely shows in the outcome!
“Continuously reading all the stories in our books reminds me how grateful I should be for everything in my own life because I am exposed now, to what other people go through.”
She teaches us how important it is to realize how lucky you are and how each and every one of us is here to serve and help those in need.
“I find that the one thing that connects most of the stories I have read, is people saying 'I had no idea I was capable of this. I had no idea I had this much strength.'”
She was a great reminder for me today, that we all already have the tools we need within us. “We can all be our own mechanics of our lives!”

"We teach what we need the most”
Planning for my largest event of the year, The Bliss Project, coming up next month, I have been overwhelmed with emotion and planning but at the same time, I wouldn’t trade this time of year for anything!
“No matter where you are in your journey, you elevate! You set goals of what’s next and what’s scary. What else can I do? And how else can I grow?”
We’ve all had the attack of the “You’r not smart enough” or “You’re not good enough” monster (which I am having right now,) but then I remember…this is EXACTLY why I do what I do and preach what I preach.
“Tell you heart that the fear of suffering is worse than suffering itself.”
-Paulo Coelho
So as I sat here today, equally as excited as I am scared, please know that you are NOT alone with your feelings. You are not doing life alone and you are not dreaming alone!
“Turn your face back towards the sun and you will immediately be helped, if you just ask for it!”

Adam Carroll is an internationally recognized speaker and thought leader in the field of financial education. He’s presented at over 600 college and university campuses, hundreds of leadership symposiums and countless local and regional events. Adam's TEDx talk at the London Business School has been viewed over half a million times on YouTube, and his work in financial education led to the crowd-funding and release of the student loan documentary Broke, Busted & Disgusted, coming out on Netflix this December. He is the author of Winning The Money Game and The Money Savvy Student, and the founder of MoneySavvy.com. Graduating from college quit some time ago, Adam ended up not only with a diploma but with a ton of student debt.
“While I was there, I lived like a rich college student, like most kids do today. But realized the error in my ways when I quickly became a broke professional.”
Luckily for Adam, meeting his girlfriend (and his now wife) during his senior year of college, they collectively put their heads together and found a way to blast through all of their debt, two years into their marriage!
“She told me 'Get rid of your debt or I have to get rid of you'”
It then occurred to him, that it is really quite simple to eliminate debt, and why wouldn’t he start to share his money savvy tips with everyone else? So he began teaching his methodology.
“My wife and I lived off of one of our salaries and used the other to while away our debt.”
Writing his first book, Winning the Money Game, led him to speaking opportunities on college campuses, which then again led him to a great opportunity to create a documentary coming soon to NETFLIX! (I cant wait to watch it!)
Adam is also in the midst of creating a course focused on “Raising Money Savvy Kids.” He believes that as parents and elders, it is our job to mold their minds at a young age on how they can win this money war and eliminate future debt. The perfect podcast to light the money flame underneath you and the most easy-to-use tips, to becoming debt free!

No matter who you are or what you have to share with the world, we all question ourselves, it’s human nature. But when we can (and we can) get passed those “insecurities” and doubt, that’s when the magic happens! It is all about showing up, putting yourself out there and the willingness to at least try.
