Have you ever made an unreasonable request? An ask that you were sure was going to get rejected the moment you put it out there? Sure you have, but there’s a limit to how many times we’re comfortable getting burned. After a while, most of us stop ourselves before the words reach our lips. We think we’ll get ridiculed, shut down, ignored. As a result, opportunities and ideas fall by the wayside.

As you’ll learn in this episode, you can get away with more than you ever thought was possible by being bold and going for the ask, regardless of expectation. Stephanie Burns built her business on what she calls bootscrapping – getting scrappy while bootstrapping, a term and technique that came as a result of making bold unreasonable requests. She teaches us to take that leap. You might be surprised at what can happen.
