In This Episode You Will Learn About:

  • Lindsay Schwartz and Lori’s 5-day immersive workshop on how to run profitable events, retreats or masterminds
  • How fear is your friend
  • How fear has so many beautiful messages for us
  • How fear marks the exact spot to where you need to go

Resources:

Show Notes:

Today’s episode is all about fear. There are three main things that you need to know. Firstly, fear is your friend. When we resist fear, we're so focused on what we don't want to happen. We're so focused on building stories that don't actually exist yet that we're not actually putting our energy towards moving forward and taking action and creating a world where no matter what, we are only focusing on winning, and we're only focusing on things going right. So give it an outlet and space to acknowledge it in. Secondly fear has so many beautiful messages for you. It's trying to tell us something, like, hey, this might need a little bit more attention, or, you need a little more support around this. Thirdly, your fear marks the exact spot to where you need to go. Write down the three actions that you're most afraid of doing. One of those is most likely the thing that you need to do in the next week. If you don't get comfortable with fear, you'll never be able to create what you want because every step you take is uncertain. And there is no one there to tell you that you have made a good decision because you're the boss. I hope today’s quickie serves as a reminder or way for you to be able to get back to the heart-centered reason of WHY you’re working on your dreams.

In This Episode You Will Learn About:

  • Chris and Lori’s Become Aligned course
  • How Natalya and Naomi deal with their very busy schedules
  • How going to the gym with her mom is helping Natalya deal with the loss of her father
  • How Natalya and Naomi make time for their families
  • How having children fits into a wrestling career
  • Natalya and Naomi’s next steps
  • How it took Natalya five years to get into WWE
  • How Natalya and Naomi support each other and their fellow competitors

Resources:

Show Notes:

Today my guests are WWE stars Natalya and Naomi. We chat about how they keep each other motivated even though they’re on the road and busy all the time. We also cover how Natalya is coping with the loss of her father and how they make time for their families. In this conversation I learnt a lot about how Natalya and Naomi push through to reach their goals. For example it took Natalya five years to get accepted for WWE but she kept trying.

Question Highlights:

  • You want to stay in shape for the ring. But you’re on the road all the time. How do you mentally prepare for that?
  • What do you do when it feels like you can't push through mentally?
  • What is something that you wish more people knew about you?
  • What are your next steps, career wise?
  • When did you realize that helping other competitors and lifting them up actually lifts you up?
  • What are you most excited about right now in your life?
  • What is something for people who feel like they're either afraid or hitting a wall?

Guest Bio:

With a combination of beauty, talent and untamed desire, Natalya is proudly carrying on the legacy of the legendary Hart Family in WWE.

The daughter of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, Natalya was trained in the rough-and-tumble Hart Dungeon. That unforgiving training ground that churned out mat greats like Brian Pillman and Natalya's husband, Tyson Kidd, molded The Queen of Harts into one of WWE's most dangerous submission grapplers. She also learned from her uncle Bret “Hit Man” Hart by driving many of her opponents to tap via a Sharpshooter.

Her presence out of the ring is almost as formidable: Starring on E!’s Total Divas reality series and working as an active supporter of WWE and The Creative Coalition’s Be a STAR Alliance, Make-A-Wish, Susan G. Komen and the WrestleMania Reading Challenge.

Natalya came agonizingly close to capturing championships for several years until she finally broke through at SummerSlam 2017, defeating Naomi for the SmackDown Women’s Championship to earn the gold for the first time since claiming the Divas Title in 2010.

The WWE Universe always assumed it would take a man of tremendous ability to live up to the legendary legacy of the pink and black. As it turned out, it’s doing just fine in this woman’s hands.

As the second-highest cause of whiplash behind car accidents, Naomi first turned heads as a dancer for the NBA's Orlando Magic and hip-hop stars like Flo Rida. These talents would take her around the world, as Naomi performed everywhere from North Korea to Indonesia.

Despite all that success, Naomi's dance steps couldn’t satisfy her competitive spirit, which is how she found herself as a contestant on WWE NXT. Despite being eliminated in the final week of her season, Naomi soon launched into orbit around Planet Funk, as one half of The Funkadactyls. From there, she broke out on her own, determined to take WWE by storm.

The Total Divas star has since had a series of remarkable runs as both fan-favorite and corner-cutting villain, doggedly pursuing the Divas Championship for the better part of a year and cementing her status as a ring general by heading up the attitude-filled Team B.A.D. of Tamina and Sasha Banks during the Divas Evolution.

Naomi then reinvented herself yet again as part of the SmackDown LIVE brand, making one-and-all feel the glow as she came face-to-face with her destiny by winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship twice, including an epic victory at WrestleMania 33 in a Six-Pack Challenge Match. A year later, she made history once again when she eliminated Bayley to win the first-ever WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34. After the 2019 Superstar Shake-up, Naomi is now adding a glow to the red brand.

Show Notes:

Today I want to chat with you about toxic friendships and breaking up with friends. I know some of you are like, yes, please give me the goods. I need to break up with friends right now. It's absolutely true. Some relationships have an expiration date and when they pass it, the friendship can go south. Not everyone is supposed to be with you for your entire journey. People who we attract in our lives that cause problems from the get-go can also teach us something - how to treat everyone with compassion and set boundaries in the most loving way possible. To move through life with more flow and ease, we must give up the idea that we are always right and in fact assume that everything is our fault and that everything is a lesson. In This Episode You Will Learn About:

  • How Alexa got into wrestling
  • How Alexa recovered from eating disorders
  • How Alexa creates safe boundaries for herself and deals with online bullying
  • Alexa’s plans for her future

Resources:

Show Notes:

Today my guest on the show is professional wrestler Alexa Bliss. Alexa watched wrestling growing up, then competed as a bodybuilder while she was recovering from eating disorders. Although she got a lucky break to become a wrestler she says really she was training for it her whole life because she’s been in athletics since she was five. In this conversation we talk about online bullying, handling out of control situations and pushing yourself to achieve your goals. What I learnt from interviewing Alexa is that the basic mindset and principles are the same exact across the board, no matter what your dream is. I don't care if you want to start a business. I don't care if you want to be an entrepreneur. I don't care if you want to be a WWE superstar. It is all the same mindset and belief in yourself and connection to other people.

Question Highlights:

  • How did you become a professional wrestler?
  • How did you integrate recovering from eating disorders into your fitness journey?

  • How do you keep a safe boundary for yourself mentally when you're in the public eye all the time?

  • What keeps you going in those moments where you don't think there's anything left?

  • What do you hope teenage girls get from seeing you?

Guest Bio:

Alexa has been a driven competitor her entire life, excelling especially in gymnastics and eventually becoming a Division I cheerleader. Alexa even entered the world of competitive bodybuilding, where she became one of the youngest competitors to receive her IFBB Professional status. With such an incredible athletic background, it’s little wonder that Alexa quickly became one of NXT’s most dangerous Superstars. Although she never captured the NXT Women’s Title, she was a constant threat.

When she joined SmackDown LIVE, Alexa ascended to the top by becoming a two-time SmackDown Women's Champion. Then she made history at WWE Payback, becoming the first Superstar to win both the SmackDown Women's Title and the Raw Women's Title.

Today’s episode is all about confidence. When you move forward with the attitude of “I am that bitch”, it doesn't mean that you're full of yourself, it doesn't mean that you don’t like other people or that you think you're better than someone, it means that you realize that you are literally made of God energy, you are made of what the universe is made of and you cannot die with the thing you’re meant to do trapped inside of you. I hope today’s quickie serves as a reminder or way for you to be able to get back to the heart-centered reason of WHY you’re working on your dreams.

Today my guest on the podcast is Anna Yusim. Anna is a nationally recognized psychiatrist, speaker and author with a private practice in New York City. After spending so much time studying and working with science, Anna felt there was something missing in her life so she set out to find it. She traveled, lived and worked in over 50 countries while studying Kabbalah, learning Buddhist meditation and working with South American shamans and Indian gurus. Her life goal for many years now has been to figure out how science and spirituality work hand in hand. And that's ultimately what led her to write her book, Fulfilled: The Science of Spirituality and How it Can Help You Live a Happier, More Meaningful Life. In this episode she shares with us her fundamental truths around fulfillment.

Also learn about my Become Aligned course. The reason why my husband Chris and I created this course is because we get asked so many questions on how we started living the life that we live now, a life of happiness, of abundance, of really understanding that life is always full of problems every single day, but there's always a solution. In the course we cover everything from mindset to the rituals that we do every single day. We talk about different energy sources, we talk about your purpose, what that actually means and how it's always changing. We show you how to build a tribe to support where you're going. And we talk about wealth, abundance, money, all of the good things, and how to sustain them.

Question Highlights:

  • I want to know how science and spirituality work hand in hand. What is a really good starting place for people to start unpacking that?
  • How does spirituality change your brainwaves?
  • What is it about being fulfilled for you that made you want to write about this whole topic?
  • What is your main false sense of fulfillment? And how did you figure out what was true for you?
  • Is there something that you're surrendering right now? And what exactly is the narrative in your brain when you are releasing or letting go of something or offering it up?
  • What does living in your purpose mean? Can your purpose change? How do we know when it changes?
  • What are the fundamental truths that you have found around fulfillment for you?

Show Notes:

Today's podcast is inspired by the idea that pain is a valuable lesson. We experience a lot of pain when we don’t know the things we're put on the earth to do or we don’t know how to do them. If we don’t transform our suffering, we transmit your suffering to our families, our neighbors and even to our communities. So we have to start taking action on the things that we know we are meant to do. Also The Bliss Project is coming up in March 2020. I would love to see you all there. It is one of the most amazing things that I've ever gotten to do and participate in and it's your opportunity to meet some of the most epic women that you can possibly meet and be able to have them in your life as friends and business partners. I hope today’s quickie serves as a reminder or way for you to be able to get back to the heart-centered reason of WHY you’re working on your dreams.

Question 2:

Melanie Oligeri

I was recently listening to when you were on Ed Mylett’s podcast last year. At the end of the episode you were talking about how you and Chris used very different methods in business. He was more about finance/numbers/etc. and you were more of the soul work. My husband and I are both entrepreneurs and that sounds like the exact phase we are in. How did you figure it out and not take things personally when opinions clashed?

You guys are cool, wanna be my friends? Stay glorious, Emilia.
