You don’t deserve to deny yourself pleasure and desire in your life. It’s so important to build our lives in a way that constantly gives us joy and pleasure. When you aren’t feeling pleasure in your day to day life, you risk numbing out on short-term dopamine hits that don’t bring us any long-term satisfaction, or you put all of your hopes for pleasure into one thing and just run it into the ground. Spread your pleasure out throughout your life. Stop delaying pleasure for the future and find joy in the moment, whatever you’re doing.

Why is it so hard to ask for help? This is a weakness for many people – and there’s so many reasons why that may be. A major part is the fear of bugging people. There’s a difference between knowing how to ask for help and making it feel burdensome. It requires approaching that ask with a certain energy. We’re going to look at how you can go in for that ask without putting the pressure on.
There are two main factors that contribute to getting better at asking:
When you’re going in for an ask, you have to make sure you know what you’re asking. Ask it in a way that doesn’t require follow-up questions. Be clear and concise and don’t waste the person’s time. You only get one shot at this so take your time making sure the question is just right.
Whatever you do, don’t be an “askhole.” That’s someone who asks for advice but doesn’t take any action. If you’re going to ask for help, make sure you are actioning it immediately. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but when people see that you’re the kind of person who puts advice into practice, they’ll be happy to give you more of it.
The second part of this is who you ask. A lot of people are shooting for the stars and asking the biggest names they can think of without having the ability to offer them anything in return. Instead, start with the people within your own network. If you don’t have a network, it’s your job to seek out people online and find them. People with similar goals, interests, or wants as you.
Knowing how to ask and how to build a circle of influence to ask within is going to make your journey as an entrepreneur go so much smoother. Collaboration is the shortcut to success. It is a skill, but it is one worth building.

Let’s talk about something that’s going to help you make more sales. If you own (or aspire to own) a business, if you want to make more money, if you sell anything (and even if you have a job), this advice is for you.
The number one problem we’re seeing people run into in their business is missed launch goals, missed sales goals, or just a complete lack of sales. When we dissect each of these scenarios with our coaching clients, what we’re seeing is this: people are rushing the process. They don’t spend time developing relationships with their audience. There are two ways you can nurture your audience and slow down your process to turn each “no” into a “yes”.
Build a nurturing sequence. Start with “nice to meet you” and lead people into a list that you own – typically an email or text list. Doing that requires them to agree to open up a relationship with you, but that’s just where the work begins. Now you have to earn their trust and develop the relationship. Give them so much value that eventually they’ll realize if this is what you’re giving away for free, what you have behind the paywall must definitely be worth it.
Or you could create a manual exchange. Make sure you show up consistently enough, with enough value in between “nice to meet you” and “would you buy my product?” by creating a private group. You can do this through Clubhouse, by hosting a weekly Zoom call, or Instagram and Facebook Live. When you nurture your audience regularly and recognize them, they will go along with whatever you do.
You may say, “I’m already doing all of this!” and that may be true, but if you aren’t seeing the results you want yet, you’re probably still going too fast. Remain patient and recognize that the marketing game is going to require more from you every day. Give people what they want and need and they will come to trust you. And when they do, that’s when you’ll get the “yes” you’re looking for.

Some of you might have something holding you back that you don’t even know about. It’s deeply rooted in your subconscious and it’s stopping you from achieving what you want in life. That thing is a hidden fear of success. It might sound funny at first, but it’s a very real fear that many people experience. But, how do you squash that fear when you might not even be aware it exists?
The first step to getting over a fear of success is understanding what it is. Deep down, the fear of success is usually just the sum of many micro-fears of change. How will your life change if you succeed? How will it be better — and how will it be worse? The truth is that you will lose some things when you reach your goals, even before, on your journey toward them. Friends may be jealous. Family may question your skill set. You have to weigh these against everything else you stand to gain and have gained already.
There are a few things holding you back:
It’s possible to work around all of these. More than fear of change, we should be afraid of staying the same. In hindsight, it will be impossible to imagine ever staying in your life the way it was. We should always be growing and adapting.

All of the answers you are seeking in your business are likely already present in your network. Your network is one of the simplest and most powerful things you can tap into – and you’re not getting enough out of it.
When you run into a problem that you don’t have the answer to on your own, start asking yourself: “Who do I know that might know about this?” If no one comes to mind immediately, dig a little deeper: “Who do I know who I don’t know what they do?” Of all the people in your network, you probably don’t know exactly what skills most of them have.
If you want to truly tap into the power of your network, try this exercise: grab a pen and a sheet of paper, and pull out your phone. Go through your social media friends and ask yourself: “Who is in my network that can help me reach my goals?” Go name by name, down the list, and write down every person who may be a valuable resource for where you want to go. This will instantly make you realize how powerful your network is – as well as give you a list of people to reach out to in order to speed up your journey.
You’re closer to your dreams than you think, but in order to get there you have to become an unapologetic asker.

So much of our self-esteem is shaped in childhood, which makes it especially important to instill that confidence in kids early on. This year, we built what we knew we were going to need as a couple. Both of us are diving into new businesses, and we knew that if we didn’t make ourselves a priority, we would end up on the backburner. So we set up a couples’ mastermind where we went on dream date trips and we started tracking what matters most to us. Those simple things have made such a difference in keeping our relationship on the forefront, and that most recent trip completely shifted our energy.
If you need to make sure you’re setting time to do the things that are most important to you, but don’t feel urgent, you need to take these two points to heart:
As counterintuitive as it may seem, there are times when stepping away from your business or your work is the best thing you can do for your productivity and inspiration. You need to be changing up your energy to inspire you to do things at a new level. Switching things up doesn’t always feel good at first – in fact, it can feel very uncomfortable. But doing so opens up space for new opportunities.
Routines are powerful, but they can also get you stuck. You have to remind yourself why you are doing what you do, what you are working towards, and what levels there are ahead.

How do you manage your motivation? Even as naturally motivated people, we still have days where we wake up feeling no motivation to build a business, work out, or do anything. Even if you’re not naturally motivated, that doesn’t mean you won’t see success, and just because you don’t wake up motivated doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to turn things around. Whoever you are, own it, and implement the tools we’re going to share with you to manufacture motivation whenever you need it.
So many things can affect your willpower and motivation: your sleep, what you eat, how much you exercise, or just your levels of stress. There’s so much going on at any given time and you have to take inventory of it all. Try to mitigate the pain points where you can.
The first thing to do every day is shift into gratitude. Ask yourself, “What are three things I’m grateful for and three things I’m excited for?” These can be hard to answer when you’re feeling down or unmotivated, but that’s when answering them is most important.
It’s OK to feel a certain way and shaming yourself for not feeling motivated isn’t helpful. You feel the way you feel, but you can still make choices from that place. Giving up will only make you feel worse in the long term.
You have control over your destiny, over your mood, and over your motivation. Starting off on the wrong track never has to determine your day. Use these tools and get yourself going again.

Questions can be a powerful tool for leveling up in every aspect of your life. As they say: “Ask better questions, get better answers.” We’re going to talk about one question we each use as a tool in order to better our lives and our businesses.
For Chris, his goal is to be as fit as he can be this summer. To make sure he hits this goal, he had to develop some tools. One of those tools was asking himself this question before every decision: “How will this make me feel in one hour?” We make so many decisions hoping for instant gratification, but thinking an hour ahead is just far enough out for you to realize whether it’s something you truly want or something you’ll regret.
My question that I ask myself is: “How can I look at this differently?” We experience discomfort on a daily basis, but we rarely think about why we’re feeling that way or what it might be telling us. Often when we’re feeling fear, it’s actually a sign that we’re in an area with opportunity for expansion and growth. When there’s no problems and no fear, there’s no way we’re ever going to get better.
If you ask yourself these two questions purposefully and intentionally, you will make exponentially better decisions and see a wider set of opportunities. These two questions can change your life.
