Today’s episode is for the person who needs a kick in the ass right now. The person who’s thinking, I'm ready. I can't live this way another day. I can't wake up to another Monday where I don't like who I am because I'm not showing up as my highest self. Nobody's coming for you. This is going to be the rest of your life if you don't take massive action. If you're looking at someone that you think is lucky, maybe they’re seeing success because they are willing to not be liked, they're willing to do it scared, they're willing to fail, to be wrong, to get criticized or get nasty messages in their DMs. They're willing to invest, they're willing to make massive risks, to lose money, to feel uncertain every damn day and they’re willing to do anything to create the support that they need. They're willing to keep moving and love themselves, even when other people don't. So if you are struggling, know that it’s because you’re growing and getting stronger. I hope today’s quickie serves as a reminder or way for you to be able to get back to the heart-centered reason of WHY you’re working on your dreams.

Today my guests are WWE stars Natalya and Naomi. We chat about how they keep each other motivated even though they’re on the road and busy all the time. We also cover how Natalya is coping with the loss of her father and how they make time for their families. In this conversation I learnt a lot about how Natalya and Naomi push through to reach their goals. For example it took Natalya five years to get accepted for WWE but she kept trying.
Question Highlights:
Guest Bio:
With a combination of beauty, talent and untamed desire, Natalya is proudly carrying on the legacy of the legendary Hart Family in WWE.
The daughter of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, Natalya was trained in the rough-and-tumble Hart Dungeon. That unforgiving training ground that churned out mat greats like Brian Pillman and Natalya's husband, Tyson Kidd, molded The Queen of Harts into one of WWE's most dangerous submission grapplers. She also learned from her uncle Bret “Hit Man” Hart by driving many of her opponents to tap via a Sharpshooter.
Her presence out of the ring is almost as formidable: Starring on E!’s Total Divas reality series and working as an active supporter of WWE and The Creative Coalition’s Be a STAR Alliance, Make-A-Wish, Susan G. Komen and the WrestleMania Reading Challenge.
Natalya came agonizingly close to capturing championships for several years until she finally broke through at SummerSlam 2017, defeating Naomi for the SmackDown Women’s Championship to earn the gold for the first time since claiming the Divas Title in 2010.
As the second-highest cause of whiplash behind car accidents, Naomi first turned heads as a dancer for the NBA's Orlando Magic and hip-hop stars like Flo Rida. These talents would take her around the world, as Naomi performed everywhere from North Korea to Indonesia.
Despite all that success, Naomi's dance steps couldn’t satisfy her competitive spirit, which is how she found herself as a contestant on WWE NXT. Despite being eliminated in the final week of her season, Naomi soon launched into orbit around Planet Funk, as one half of The Funkadactyls. From there, she broke out on her own, determined to take WWE by storm.
The Total Divas star has since had a series of remarkable runs as both fan-favorite and corner-cutting villain, doggedly pursuing the Divas Championship for the better part of a year and cementing her status as a ring general by heading up the attitude-filled Team B.A.D. of Tamina and Sasha Banks during the Divas Evolution.
Naomi then reinvented herself yet again as part of the SmackDown LIVE brand, making one-and-all feel the glow as she came face-to-face with her destiny by winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship twice, including an epic victory at WrestleMania 33 in a Six-Pack Challenge Match. A year later, she made history once again when she eliminated Bayley to win the first-ever WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34. After the 2019 Superstar Shake-up, Naomi is now adding a glow to the red brand.

Today I want to chat with you about toxic friendships and breaking up with friends. I know some of you are like, yes, please give me the goods. I need to break up with friends right now. It's absolutely true. Some relationships have an expiration date and when they pass it, the friendship can go south. Not everyone is supposed to be with you for your entire journey. People who we attract in our lives that cause problems from the get-go can also teach us something - how to treat everyone with compassion and set boundaries in the most loving way possible. To move through life with more flow and ease, we must give up the idea that we are always right and in fact assume that everything is our fault and that everything is a lesson. I hope today’s quickie serves as a reminder or way for you to be able to get back to the heart-centered reason of WHY you’re working on your dreams.

Today my guest on the show is professional wrestler Alexa Bliss. Alexa watched wrestling growing up, then competed as a bodybuilder while she was recovering from eating disorders. Although she got a lucky break to become a wrestler she says really she was training for it her whole life because she’s been in athletics since she was five. In this conversation we talk about online bullying, handling out of control situations and pushing yourself to achieve your goals. What I learnt from interviewing Alexa is that the basic mindset and principles are the same exact across the board, no matter what your dream is. I don't care if you want to start a business. I don't care if you want to be an entrepreneur. I don't care if you want to be a WWE superstar. It is all the same mindset and belief in yourself and connection to other people.
Question Highlights:
Guest Bio:
Alexa has been a driven competitor her entire life, excelling especially in gymnastics and eventually becoming a Division I cheerleader. Alexa even entered the world of competitive bodybuilding, where she became one of the youngest competitors to receive her IFBB Professional status. With such an incredible athletic background, it’s little wonder that Alexa quickly became one of NXT’s most dangerous Superstars. Although she never captured the NXT Women’s Title, she was a constant threat.
When she joined SmackDown LIVE, Alexa ascended to the top by becoming a two-time SmackDown Women's Champion. Then she made history at WWE Payback, becoming the first Superstar to win both the SmackDown Women's Title and the Raw Women's Title.

Today's podcast is inspired by the idea that pain is a valuable lesson. We experience a lot of pain when we don’t know the things we're put on the earth to do or we don’t know how to do them. Great Minds Rant Alike
The first episode I listened to I was hearing what sounded like crazy banter between Lori and her sidekick partner Evans. I wasn’t sure this was for me. But I was now having fun because they were having so much fun. For some reason I kept listening, it’s been 5 months now, and I have gotten something out of each episode. I’m a few years older than Lori, and can totally relate to all of her music, TV, movie references to yesteryears. I shared three takeaways from the show with Sheri Salata on my IG, and I’ve never shared a show there before. Then, when I heard the episode called Turn your Hard Times Into Greatness, and Lori shared the anxious rant that runs in her head that keeps her from being present in every aspect of her life, I realized I love this podcast so much because I can relate. So many of us can. I’m not the only one saying the same rant to myself. Lori will give you tips on all aspects of Earning Your Happy, because she’s gone through this and is completely relatable. Guest Bio:
Monique Bryan is based in Toronto and runs her own branding consultancy. Monique has a BA in Fashion Design from Ryerson University and spent time studying abroad in London at the University of Westminster.
Upon returning to Toronto, Monique landed a design position for national retailer Le Chateau and worked her way up to Product Manager for all of ladieswear, becoming the youngest executive at the company. She quickly learned the ins and outs of manufacturing and global sourcing from working with their partners across Asia. But it was her frequent trips to India where she discovered her love of jewellery design and in 2010 she launched a jewellery company, landing her line in retailers across Toronto and New York.
This began her crash course in entrepreneurship and where she discovered her true love for business and marketing. So, when she was offered a chance to head up an accelerator program helping entrepreneurs jump-start their business five years later, she jumped at the chance. Partnering with global brands such as Paypal, Burberry, and Toms Shoes, Monique thought she had found her calling. But before she had a chance to decide, she discovered a lump in her left breast that changed her life forever.
Over the next year Monique underwent eight rounds of chemotherapy, surgery and 21 rounds of radiation, documenting the entire journey through her uncensored and very real account, on her blog, “Surprise, It’s Cancer!” Her blog was discovered by the writers at “Entrepreneur Magazine” and Monique was featured in the October issue in 2018.
