Today’s episode may contradict what you’ve heard before. But Hey! “In order to get something you’ve never had, you must do something you’ve never done.” - Unknown

Give yourself a minute to think of the bigger picture, your biggest goal. Great. Now ditch it! Cut it up, throw it away, start your BBQ grill with it, whatever it takes.

My quickie today is meant to teach you that it’s not just about the destination, its more about the journey. Confused? let me break it down for you.

Is your biggest goal right now, to get that “Summer body?” While keeping the big one in the back of your mind, you must also realize that all the smaller goals that get you there are just as big, if not bigger! You can’t get that body without first taking yourself to the gym 3-4x per week, or cooking those healthy meals.

So my point is to not hurt yourself over the MAIN goal, but to focus on all the little particles that will help you reach it!

“It’s about finding the joy in taking those simple actions.”

In This Episode You Will Learn About:

  • Choosing your big goal
  • Taking action
  • Enjoying the journey to reach it
  • Forgetting the worry and failures
  • How to work backwards to achieve your goals

Kate has gone to the depths of human pain, hitting rock bottom twice after an emotionally turbulent & violent upbringing. She overcame huge barriers, including anorexia, bulimia, depression & a drug addiction to go on to become a national leader in her field as a registered nurse, speaking at international health conferences, being nominated for a special regional health award for her national work in training doctors & nurses throughout New Zealand as powerful change agents & was a finalist for the New Zealand Emerging Speaker of the Year in 2013. She received high accolades for her work as a national project manager with her work being featured at national conferences.

Despite a thriving career, Kate let it all go to pursue her life calling of empowering billions globally by combining heart and strategy. She founded GameChangerLive, her 2-day highly acclaimed transformational workshop which is run through Australasia & South East Asia, and her three month advanced breakthrough program, GameChanger High Performance.

Alongside her husband Henare, she co-founded the GameChanger Global SummitTM, an annual event connecting the top thought leaders of our generation. On her stage, she attracts luminary greats such as Jack Canfield, John Gray, Brendon Burchard, Marci Shimoff, Dr John Demartini, T Harv Eker, Gregg Braden, Brandon Bays, Sonia Choquette, Eben Pagan and many, many more. Kate navigates her roles of mother, wife, spiritual partner, coach, speaker and author with a huge amount of commitment and love.

She commits each day to stepping up further & further into her highest potential and use the gifts she was given to make a difference on the planet. Going back through Kate’s younger years, it is hard to hear some of the things she endured at such a young age. I sit here today with an open mind and heart for Kate and other women who I am sure can relate on various different levels. The vulnerability Kate shows on this podcast, is overwhelming in such an inspirational and beautiful manner.

Taking her “mess” and therefore finding her incredible message is what I hope everyone listening today will do for themselves as well. Kate teaches us that no matter how dark your past may be, there is always, always, always a light at the end of the tunnel.

“I actually wake up on a daily basis and cannot wait to get into my life, it is exciting”

Showing up each day and stepping full force into the work is how Kate eventually found her life’s true meaning.

“I’m not telling you that it’s going to be easy, but I am telling you that it is going to be worth it.” -Unknown

Learn how to differentiate between the two voices we all have inside of us. There is the “noise” and then there is the actual “voice,” Kate says. The noise is all the fear and worry that consumes us, which to some, can manifest into very serious situations. Then there is the voice, the intuitive part of us that knows something greater. Treasure that voice, for it’s truly a gift. If anything, allow Kate to be that shot of inspiration that runs through your veins and reminds you daily that everything can be reached and achieved, if you only put your mind to it.

In This Episode You Will Learn About:

  • Eating disorders
  • Overcoming struggles
  • Loving yourself fully
  • Forgiving your past
  • Breakthroughs
  • Finding the message in your mess
  • Making a difference

Robyn Baldwin is an Alpha Female and a Work / Life Harmony Strategist. She is a full-time Marketing Manager, a fitness/lifestyle blogger at RobynBaldwin.com, a former CFL cheerleader and fitness competitor, a published fitness model, a freelance writer, a future best selling author, a brand ambassador, a sponsored athlete and a podcaster.

With a passion for fitness, Robyn loves running, weight lifting, has taught spin and coached beginner runners. She’s also a yogi and has been practicing for over 10 years. She now spends the majority of her spare time training for obstacle course racing. She also calls herself an MS Warrior after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in December of 2014.

What is an “Alpha Female” you ask? Well, you're about to find out, from the fascinating powerhouse herself. Being an alpha female is a beautiful thing. It gives you the extra title of being strong and majestic and while it can be intimidating to some, it’s really quite a marvelous trait to have.

Robyn tells us some of the common female struggles she has come across, or been asked about, and shares with us tips and advice of how to overcome these struggles.

“I find there are 2 common themes. One is trying to be nicer to ourselves, learning to do less, be less of a perfectionist and truly being okay with outcomes…accepting the seasons of our lives and the second, is being nicer to ourselves, physical fitness wise.”

Sometimes just going for a long walk rather than a crazy workout at the gym, is just what the doctor ordered. Noticing and owning your Alpha is what Robyn instills. Grabbing the bull by the horns, with or without the permission of others around you, is what life is all about.

“I may not always be embraced, but I would rather be respected than always completely loved.”

We are all a mixture of masculine and feminine energy, some more than others. Reeling in the nurturing and caring side of an Alpha female isn't always the easiest, but it can potentially create an absolute unstoppable woman.

“I’m always testing my limits, I’ve skydived, bungee jumped and I am constantly partaking in obstacle course runs, but simply asking the person next to me on the airplane, how their weekend was, is totally outside of my comfort zone.”

Well it’s about that time ladies… Right here, right now, Robyn and I challenge you all to step outside your comfort zone and go own your Alpha.

Like Beyoncè says, “Who runs the world? GIRLS!”

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • What an Alpha female is
  • How to Own that term
  • Empowerment
  • About putting yourself first
  • How to overcoming struggles
  • About nurturing, caring and helping others

Her 16-year journey in the health and fitness industry began when she got her very first job at a gym just for the free membership at 15! Since then, Jill’s earned her BS in Exercise Science and MS in Nutrition, competed in several fitness competitions, landed 5 national fitness magazine covers and experienced plenty of business growth. Her work has been featured in SELF magazine, Family Circle, SHAPE, Women’s Health magazine, Prevention magazine and many online news outlets like Yahoo Health, LiveStrong.com and AOL’s That’s Fit.

Jillfit.com was created in her early 20’s. At first her website was solely about fitness, fitness prep, meal planning etc.. now turned into a multifaceted website for not only health and wellness, but business as well.

Jill gives us her brilliant insight on what can set you apart from the other millions of business owners in the online space. Figuring out YOUR personality and what you can offer differently, to this world, is the most valuable tool.

You have to just begin. Forget the fear of being judged or being wrong. She shares her outlook on blogging and highly recommends this as anyones first step. We all have our own opinions, so why not write them down? Get it out there. The world needs to hear what you have to say. After-all, isn't that what social media is for?

In the fall of 2016 she will release her fifth book, The Universe Has Your Back which you can pre-order below under "Resources". Gabrielle, a “spiritual activist” recently teamed up with Deepak Chopra to co-host the Guinness Book of World Records largest group meditation.

Youtube named Gabrielle one of 16 Youtube Next Video Bloggers, she was named one of Mashable’s 11 Must-Follow Twitter accounts for inspiration and she’s featured on the Forbes List of 20 Best Branded Women. Putting a quick halt to the idea of acting, Gabby brought her talents elsewhere. At the age of 21 she started her own business: Nightlife PR in New York City, representing high-end nightclubs and restaurants. On a fast-track to “no where” Gabby found it difficult to keep up with the insane hours and living up to the stereotypical NYC lifestyle. This too, was not for her.

Becoming a work addict, a drug addict, a love addict and a food addict, Gabby had finally hit rock bottom.

“I hit bottom which ultimately I believe is the best place to land because it is only up from there.”

Reconnecting to her spiritual roots, at the young age of 25, Gabby became completely sober. In the midst of her sobriety, she also began to find her true self, her inner Spirit Junkie.

From there, the rest is really history.

Fast forwarding to today, Gabby is one of the most influential females in the transformational and spiritual world. She lives each day as if it were her last and takes great pride in teaching others to do the same.

Jordan Younger is the blogger behind the #realness-based wellness and lifestyle blog The Balanced Blonde. She is also the creator of the health-inspired conscious clothing line TBV Apparel, and author of the memoir Breaking Vegan. When she isn't caught up in writer-blogger-land, you can find Jordan on the yoga mat, snuggling with her kitten, sipping on green smoothies in Venice, laughing way too hard at her own jokes, and training for marathons because she is crazy.

Jordan’s Instagram, the Blonde Vegan, was created with the hopes of spreading her healthy lifestyle to her followers. After watching the numbers grow on all accounts, she realized that sharing this bit of her life could be more than a hobby, an entrepreneurial opportunity. The Blonde Vegan Blog was then born, where full recipes and lifestyle stories were shared. Letting people glimpse into her life, is what made Jordan happy.

Eventually switching from Vegan for personal reasons, Jordan then rebranded herself from The Blonde Vegan, to The Balanced Blonde.

Not fitting into the stereotypical eating disorder Jordan still knew there was something “disorderly” to her eating and was on a mission to pin point it. Being diagnosed with Orthorexia, not as commonly known as the other types, she began to realize she was obsessed with eating clean foods from the earth and developed a fear/avoidance of foods that did not fall into this category.

Overcoming this realization and re-educating herself on adding other types of food back into her daily life are now the exact lessons that Jordan enjoys teaching on.

“All of our bodies have the knowledge and the keys to how we are feeling and what we need, but we need to tap into that.”

Learning to listen to our bodies is the most beneficial thing we can do for ourselves. The second most beneficial thing you can do for yourself, is to listen in for the tips and buzz of our very own Balanced Blonde, Jordan Younger, for an all around healthy being.

Her motivation and self-love inspiration is overwhelming and I am honored to share it with you all!

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • How to have a balanced diet and lifestyle
  • What is Vegan
  • What is Orthorexia
  • Overcoming diagnosis and food fears
  • Authenticity
